Training Details

DRAWING FROM THE FIVE ELEMENTS OF XINGYIQUAN, THE EIGHT GATES OF BAGUAZHANG AND THE EIGHT ENERGIES OF TAIJIQUAN, TRAINING WILL INCORPORATE THE FOLLOWING PRACTICES:

  • BREATHING – To increase circulation and energy, and enhance the body’s natural healing and restorative process.
  • MOVEMENT – Exercises that move, relax and lengthen the body and increase alignment, coordination and balance.
  • SELF APPLIED MASSAGE – Which stimulates the energy and circulation flow throughout the whole body.
  • STILLNESS – Restores the body, quietens the mind, and calms the emotions.
  • LOVE – All our practice is experienced through the realm of the Heart.
Daily Schedule

9.30am – Arrive for refreshments

10.00am – Begin Training

11.30am – Personal Meditation

12.00 noon – Lunch break

1.00pm – Training

2.15pm – Afternoon break

2.45pm – Training

4.00pm – Finish

Requirements

We have a wide selection of teas, though students bring snacks to share at brew time, and please
bring your own lunch (which you are very welcome to reheat on the stove or in the microwave).

You will need to bring a clean-soled pair of indoor shoes to change in to in our training room. We have
plenty of blankets and cushions for your meditation and feel free to bring your own favourite things
for your comfort if you have them.
